How we make money

Mortise Ledger is an affiliate on ClickBank, an online marketplace where sellers ("vendors") offer digital products. When you click one of our paid links and buy, ClickBank records the sale and pays us a commission out of it. We are not the seller, and we don't handle orders, payments, support or refunds.

Right now our review links to two woodworking products from the same seller team. We earn a commission on either of them, and we say so on the page.

According to ClickBank, if a sale is refunded, the commission paid to the affiliate is revoked (ClickBank Support, "Will I get paid a commission if the sale is refunded?").

You pay the price shown at checkout. We have not yet confirmed from a published source whether the price is the same with or without an affiliate link, so we don't promise that it is. Always check the price and the terms at checkout.

• Our reviews are researched and written with AI tools from public information (the seller's public pages and terms, marketplace listings and platform policies), with the date we checked them.
• We do not physically test products. If we haven't used something, we say so at the top of the page.
• We list pros and cons, say who a product is not for, and point to free alternatives when they may be enough.
• We don't publish ratings, testimonials or results we can't source.

• We don't accept payment for positive reviews, and sellers don't review or approve our pages before publication.
• We don't use link shorteners, cloaking or hidden links: paid links are ClickBank links that take you to the seller's page and are labelled "(paid link)".
• We don't make income, savings or results promises. Results vary.
